Fleeting Clouds

Fleeting Clouds

As the sun went down, its last rays hitting Christaki peak (2714m) of mt. Olympus. The photo was taken from Kserolaki valley at an altitude of 1230 meters. It's a fantastic route just an hour from my home (lucky me, I guess).

I've got there with my friend Nikos just on time to see (and photograph, of course) the highest peaks of mt. Olympus during the sunset and also the first snow of the season. We were lucky because there was no wind and the temperature was 4 degrees Celsius which really helped the camera (but not us ) not to heat up during those long exposures.

Hope you like it.
