Under a starry sky
Last weekend I was at Sarakatsana refuge at Pieria mountain at 1680m.
This is an amazing place. The refuge is built in a forest of European Black Pines Pinus nigra. Under the pines lies a carpet of green grass with yellow flowers. The view is also magnificent and if you have good company, the place is a small paradise.
Lucky me that I didn't only have good company, I had excellent company.
So I didn't let this opportunity pass me by. I took many many photos but this one had great impact on me. It's my first serious attempt of that kind of photography. I set the tripod to take a picture but there was red- tungsten light shinning behind me from the refuge. I didn't want to go any further on my own, so I thought to add some light with my hand held SB-28 flash. So, here I have 4 or 5 flashes from different angles.
