Overwhelmed

Overwhelmed

This is the Orlias Canyon during a very strong, intense and destructive rain. When I got there I was shocked by the sound of the water. I almost couldn't believe my ears. Thankfully the rain had almost stopped but the umbrella was still necessary.

When I got back I showed those photos to a friend and a cousin. My friend, John, told me "you are completely crazy and out of your mind, you could get your self killed". My cousin on the other hand, also John, told me "Oh no, you got there late, we should have been there in the morning, when the rain was still intense". Two Johns, both fellow mountaineers, two completely different perspectives.
